2507 Round Bar

2507 round bars, a super duplex stainless steel (UNS S32750), represent the pinnacle of strength and corrosion resistance for the most demanding industrial applications. With a balanced austenite-ferrite microstructure (45-55% ferrite), this alloy offers exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking in chloride-rich environments. Newstar Hardware’s 2507 round bars, manufactured to ASTM A276 and A479, feature a minimum tensile strength of 830MPa and yield strength of 550MPa—twice that of 316 stainless steel—with elongation over 25% for formability.
