The alloy used to produce Hastelloy C276 round bars contains high levels of molybdenum and chromium elements, with the addition of tungsten, making these bars extremely corrosion-resistant in many media.
For example, the alloy shows strong resistance to stress-induced cracking corrosion caused by chloride ions as well as localized attack such as pitting and crevice corrosion.
Don't forget: UNS N10276 Hastelloy Square Bar also has good resistance to general corrosion. We offer Hastelloy C276 bars in a wide range of sizes and shapes.
