Due to its characteristics, 800/800H/800HT alloys are suitable for environments that require resistance to oxidation, carburization and other types of high-temperature corrosion. Seamless Incoloy pipes, including seamless high-temperature and high-pressure pipes, are widely used in these industries due to their excellent high-temperature and corrosion resistance.
Heat Treatment and Power Generation:
The excellent thermal stability and oxidation resistance of seamless Incoloy tubes ensure the service life of equipment in high temperature environments. 800/800H/800HT alloys are often used in applications exposed to high temperatures for a long time.
They are used in heat treatment plants, superheater and reheater tubes, manifolds, tail pipes, outlet manifolds and heating element jackets.
Chemical and Petrochemical Processing:
In chemical plants, these alloys are used to manufacture components exposed to corrosive environments.
Their ability to resist oxidation, carburization, and corrosion at high temperatures is critical in chemical processing plants.
Nuclear Industry:
800/800H/800HT alloys are used in steam generators and nuclear reactor components in nuclear power plants.
High temperature and corrosion resistance are critical to this industry.
Paper Pulp Industry:
Heat handling equipment such as baskets, trays and fixtures are often made from Incoloy 800H/HT.
These alloys help maintain the integrity of paper mill equipment.

Seamless Incoloy tubes are well known for their outstanding performance in demanding industrial applications. Especially at high temperatures, seamless Incoloy tubes have excellent resistance to oxidation and carburization, making them ideal for high temperature environments.
Alloy 800 – The 800 series alloys (Incoloy 800, 800H, and 800HT) are nickel-iron-chromium high temperature alloys that have excellent high temperature strength and resistance to oxidation, carburization, and other types of high temperature corrosion. The 800, 800H, and 800HT alloys have a variety of uses, from furnace components in petrochemical furnaces to cracking tubes and jacketing for electrical heating elements.
Incoloy 800 tube is one of the most widely used tubes for manufacturing high-strength equipment. The material has strong resistance to carburization and oxidation, making it particularly suitable for applications that require resistance to carburization and corrosion. 800H alloy seamless tubes are cold drawn and are characterized by high creep and rupture strength. By adding nickel, the material becomes ductile, while by adding chromium, the material has strong corrosion resistance. Ni 800 HT Hot Rolled Tubes remain austenitic due to the presence of nickel. The high temperature resistance of ASTM B407 UNS N08811 Incoloy 800HT pipes allows them to be used in heat treatment equipment and devices. Seamless Incoloy 800 pipes have higher dimensional accuracy.
This feature is very important for narrow fixtures that require high precision. Alloy 800 tubes are used in steam generator tubes, electrical heating element sheathing, paper and pulp industry, and petroleum processing plants. The most commonly used shape is round tube made from Incoloy alloy 800, but other shapes are also used. Other shapes, such as Incoloy's 800H square tube, may also be used depending on the application requirements. Square tubes are often used in applications that require structural strength. Composite tubes made from Incoloy alloy 800HT are used to cover pipes made from other materials. Since the material can withstand high temperatures, it can be used to protect other softer materials from heat. Incoloy's 800HT pipe is particularly suitable for chemical and petrochemical processing in ethylene and variant processing plants. Incoloy 800H pipes are interchangeable; both are solution annealed. Therefore, they have higher creep strength and rupture strength.
